Cobalt inquiries can cover feedstock for further recovery or refined cobalt metal. Confirm the mineral or chemical form and intended receiving process; a concentrate grade cannot be compared directly with metal purity.
Grade & buyer requirements
99.9% and 99.95% Co are reference buyer targets for refined cobalt metal. Concentrate requires its own cobalt-content target, moisture and impurity limits. Ask for nickel, copper, iron and other residual elements relevant to your process. Cobalt hydroxide, cobalt salts, alloys and pure metal have different specifications and must be identified separately.
Applications
Concentrate feeds cobalt recovery and refining. Refined metal is used in alloying and other industrial processing where the actual form and chemistry meet the manufacturer’s requirements. Battery or specialist application suitability requires separate qualification.
Packing & shipment
Discuss sealed bags or drums for feedstock and suitable containers or protected bundles for refined metal. Agree lot identification, weights, cargo classification and handling instructions for the selected material.
