Material & characteristics
Graphite concentrate is carbon-bearing mineral material selected by fixed carbon content and particle characteristics. For natural flake material, flake size and the distribution of fines affect the buyer’s processing requirements.
Grade & buyer requirements
95% and 98% fixed carbon are example buyer targets from natural graphite listings. Fixed carbon, ash, volatile matter and moisture should be reported separately. Specify sieve or mesh sizes with the corresponding retained/passing fractions. Concentrate grade alone does not establish battery-grade suitability.
Applications
Potential feedstock for refractory, foundry and other industrial graphite applications, depending on grade and sizing. Battery applications require additional processing and qualification of the actual material.
Packing & shipment
Request sealed, lined bags or bulk bags to limit moisture ingress and loss of fines. Agree bag weight, identification, dust handling and destination acceptance requirements.
