Material & characteristics
Natural rough diamonds are uncut stones assessed individually or as sorted parcels. Shape, crystal condition, inclusions and colour influence the suitability of a parcel for cutting or industrial processing.
Grade & buyer requirements
Diamond selection uses carat weight and stone characteristics rather than a metal-style purity percentage. State the total parcel weight, preferred size distribution, colour range and intended use. Request current parcel photographs and an agreed inspection; a photograph does not grade a parcel.
Applications
Potential feedstock for diamond cutting and polishing, or industrial use where the assessed material is suitable. Cutting yield and final polished grades require specialist evaluation of the actual stones.
Packing & shipment
Export by air freight only. Request sealed, labelled parcels with a stone count or weight schedule. Protective packing, custody, insurance, carrier acceptance and destination documentation are to be agreed for each shipment.
