Tungsten inquiries can cover mineral concentrate for further processing or refined tungsten metal for manufacturing. Identify the form first, because oxide grade and metal purity measure different materials.
Grade & buyer requirements
65% WO₃ is a reference request for tungsten concentrate; 99.95% W is a separate target for refined metal. For concentrate, identify wolframite or scheelite and request moisture, size and impurity results. For refined powder or another metal form, specify particle size or dimensions and residual-element limits.
Applications
Concentrate is feedstock for tungsten recovery. Refined metal can be processed into powder metallurgy products or carbide feedstock where the chosen form and chemistry are suitable. Pure tungsten and tungsten carbide are separate products.
Packing & shipment
Discuss lined bags or sealed drums for concentrate and suitable sealed containers or protective packing for refined metal. Agree lot labels, weights, cargo classification and loading requirements.
